GOLF COURSE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY

USGTF member Wendy Coe has recently contacted our office regarding her home course, Elkhorn Country Club. Elkhorn CC is located in Stockton, California, and closed its doors this past February and is now in pre-foreclosure. This 18-hole course sits on 93 acres and is the second oldest course in Stockton, designed by Bert Stamps in 1963.

The course has a 12,000 square-foot clubhouse which was remodeled in 1992, a full kitchen in addition to a grillroom with bar, men’s and ladies’ locker rooms, pro shop, maintenance sheds, cart barn, driving range and a putting green. This was a private membership course with the 2010 directory showing 232 members in addition to several social members.

A small group of investors are looking into purchasing the course debt-free and hiring a management company to run it, but they are looking for more investors, or possibly an individual to buy the course. If you or anyone you know may be interested in this facility, please contact the USGTF office at (888) 346-3290.
