USGTF-China To Train Teachers At Prestigious Club

Toby Tse, president of USGTF-China, has announced that he has signed a three-year agreement with Lan Hai Golf Club to train and certify select caddies and staff members of the club beginning August 1. Lan Hai is a Jack Nicklaus-designed layout, and is one of the most prestigious courses in China.

According to Tse, the club is concerned about staff turnover, and it believes that certifying its staff as USGTF-China members will reduce that turnover, in addition to providing a valuable service to its members and guests. The plan calls for Level I, II, and III classes to be held, with 20 participants in each class. These will be in addition to regularly scheduled USGTF-China classes that are already held.

Tse expects that this program will be expanded to other courses in China, further strengthening the USGTF-China brand in that country.
