Warner Named Harvey Penick Trophy Recipient

USGTF Master Golf Teaching Professional Christopher Warner from Houston, Texas, has been named the winner of the 2014 Harvey Penick Trophy for Excellence in Golf Teaching. The ceremony took place during the closing banquet and awards ceremony for the United States Golf Teachers Cup. Warner’s nomination letters were unanimous in calling him a giving individual who greatly cares about the game of golf, his students, and his community.

In his acceptance speech, Warner talked of the need to give back and to stay in touch with the organization and with each other. He is also author of the book Golf Swing From The Ground Up, and it can be found on Amazon.com.
